Prof. Ioan Salomie is Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He founded the Distributed Systems Research Laboratory (DSRL), where he continues to act as Scientific and Technical Advisor. His research has significantly contributed to distributed computing, intelligent systems, green computing, smart grids, blockchain-enabled decentralized systems and large-scale software architectures.
